SASR-UKG Wallet Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
To participate in the SASR-UKG Wallet program, you must be an active employee in good standing. Here is a FAQ guide of commonly asked questions.
· How does UKG wallet work?
o UKG Wallet gives you access to a percentage of the money you worked for but haven't been paid yet.1 The money that you access is then deducted from your next paycheck, giving you the flexibility to pay for things on your own schedule.
· What do I need to sign up?
o All you need is your name, phone number, employer, and employee ID. That's it! You can find your employee ID on your pay stub or on the jobs page of your SASR Mobile App.
· I worked yesterday and I do not see any available funds in my UKG Wallet app?
o You must use the SASR Mobile app to record your in/out and your lunch punches. If you do not use the app, you will not be eligible to participate in the program.
· I saw available funds and now they are gone. What happened?
o There is a blackout period for which no earnings will be available for requesting. This will happen at the end of the pay period. The blackout period starts Friday at 7:30pm EST/4:30pm CST and goes through Sunday 5am EST/2am CST.
· How much of my wages can I access via UKG Wallet?
o You can access a portion of your earned wages. The current cap is 40% of your earned wages for the current pay period.
· What happens on payday if I do not request/use any of the earnings available in UKG Wallet?
o If you do not request/use any of the available earnings in UKG Wallet, you will receive your earnings in your paycheck, on the pay date published in the 2024 Payroll Calendar.
· Does participation in the program impact my taxes?
o No, this program does not impact your taxes. It is simply receiving a portion of your wages in advance of the scheduled pay date.
