Severe Weather
- With the multitude of nature events, it is impractical to include scenarios for every possible weather-related
situation.
- SASR realizes that severe weather or hazardous commuting conditions may occasionally make it impossible for
employees to report to work on time. However, Associates are expected to make a diligent effort to report to
work when conditions have improved. If an Associate determines that they are unable to report to work
because of the conditions, they should inform their Talent Consultant via a support ticket and if available your onsite lead via a text or call.
- If it becomes necessary to shut down a work assignment due to weather or other emergency, every effort will
be made to notify Associates. If there is a question as to whether the location will be open, Associates should
call their place of work. If there is no answer within one (1) hour after the normal start time, assume the location
is closed.
- SASR empowers every Associate with the ability to make their own choices based off their level of comfort
regarding the weather situations. Each Associates knows their limitations and tolerance to risk and for that
reason it is necessary for each person to make their individual decision to commute to and from work location.
